#9 Margaret River-Voyager and Chocolate Factory and Busselton Jetty

After whale watch in Busselton, we headed back to Margaret River to visit wine yard and chocolate factory.

Margaret River is famous as the land of wine making. Xt and I were not really attracted by the wines.Basically, we do not like alcoholic drinks except Jolly Sandy. Yet we felt that we must at least visit one wine yard and taste their wines! How on Earth can we miss this?

Voyager was chosen, mainly because this wine yard has spectacular gardens.

The garden was stunning! All the grape trees had lost their leaves though. All left behind were this blackish dried trunk. We walked around the gardens and happily took some photos as if we had forgotten our main purpose.

I particularly love tree without any leaves. Just have to say it looks so vintage!

Like a children!

Our prime problem here was nobody was there to take a photo for us. Regardless anywhere we went, basically we wouldn't see any crowds. Not like the attractions in other countries, always flooded with tourists.

One thing we enjoyed for the fact that we weren't surrounded by people, was that we could quietly indulged ourselves in the natures. Enjoyed this very low-paced journey.

On the dull side, no one else was there to be our cameraman. >.<

Except on one day they were having the 'City to Surf' events that the whole city was overflowed with people, all wearing tracksuits (mostly with singlet and short pants) in the early morning. Me and xt, in contrast, looked like people from the South Pole. /.\

Ohh, I've dragged too far. Yea, back to the topics.

Say Cheese!

Still, very pretty garden.

With my favourite BALD trees!

LOL.Real fresh Tulips. They looked so beautiful and flawless in which I thought they were fake. Turn out to be REAL.

Orchid lah.

Having some plans?

Those bald branches are grape trees.

Aha, my favourite shot!

Yeay, finally we realized why we are here.we came for wine tasting. Voyager welcomed visitors to taste their wines for free.

You were free to choose three types of wines which you like. We know nothing about wine so we just randomly picked some. I picked two and now I have forgotten their name. LOL.

I think I prefer sparkling grape juice hehe.:D  I had two glasses of sparkling juices and I bought one home. Still, non-alcoholic drink was the choice.

Then we stopped by chocolate factory. They invited visitors to taste their chocolates as well with the choices of dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Xt preferred Milk Choco while I loved dark choco.

Kangaroo's paw. Flower of WA.

Chocolates come with different shapes and sizes.

And I had my Simmo's Icecream here! Mango flavor. One big scoop $4.50.

So I randomly grabbed some chocolates with me back into the car and wrapped them in tissue. The weather was so cold that the chocolate wouldn't melt. That was one thing I like about this icy cold weather. This reminded me my melted chocolate in Langkawi=(.

This time, I could leave them in the car and  pop one into my mouth anytime I like! *Phew, feeling contented.*

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early in the morning, after saying goodbye to Kim we headed to Busselton Jetty. Another rainy freezing cold morning. Busselton Jetty is the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.

We intended to have a walk on this jetty but after we got out the car, we immediately regret. So freaking cold, and we made our move back into the car :(

And then we realized, weather restricted people.

p/s: Travel bugs poisoned me deeply, now I've no cure but just keep travelling.
